Your Business Needs a Home (That’s Never Closed!)

Your Business Needs a Home (That’s Never Closed!)

Hey there! Let me ask you a question. Think of how much time you would spend traveling to see your favorite pizza shop, your favorite coffee shop, or your favorite store at the shopping center, only one random hour in a week. You never knew when you would ever get to go there, eh? You would come up and up again and find the doors closed and the lights switched off. You would most likely give up after sometime and go somewhere that is really there when you need them.

Well, guess what? This is exactly the case when it comes to a business without a website in the modern world. Unless you are easily identified by people on the internet, people will just skip to another person that they will find. It is equal to a store without an address that people may hear that this store is good but they do not know how to come there!

Consider a site as a permanent home of your business online. It is accessible any time – 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It never sleeps, never has a sick leave or unhappy leave or holidays nor does it require a vacation. It may be 3 PM on a Tuesday or 3 AM on Christmas morning, somebody can knock on your door, get in, inspect the house, and you know what you are all about.

And this is what I like in this: Your web site does your job even when you do not work. Your site is being visited by your prospective customers when you are asleep, having dinner with your family or having fun on your weekends representing your business. It is as though a worker loves his job, and never goes home!

I have my own web design business and I cannot even say how often I received many emails with potential customers at different times of the night. They discovered my site through online surfing, liked what they observed and chose to contact me – at a time when I was sleeping! Those opportunities would not simply disappear in thin air without that site.

It is not merely a digital storefront and your presence online is your 24/7 storefront, your 24/7 customer service representative and your 24/7 marketing team member in one. And the best part? It does not demand a salary increase or a lunch!

Therefore, when without a website, you have a business, then you are closing the doors most of the time and wishing that the customers will just show up. That’s no way to grow! Being able to have that permanent home online implies that you are always open to business and always ready to receive new visitors and, most importantly, to convert interested browsers into long-term customers.

Believe me your business should have a home that houses not closed. This will put your customers in your debt, and you will be asking yourself, how did I ever get along without one!
